Wycliff Nagaba holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Rwanda and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development.

He specializes in Banking & Finance transactions. Since joining the firm in 2018, Wycliff has gained considerable experience and knowledge in commercial law as he has handled several ground breaking transactions mainly in the Banking & Finance sector. He has also advised on different matters in general Corporate and Commercial Law, Capital Markets, Labour Law and Intellectual Property Law.

Wycliff’s day-to-day roles at the firm include, but are not limited to, drafting/reviewing transactional documents such as Facility Agreements, security agreements, Inter-Creditor Agreements, advising on regulatory and licensing requirements and compliance and liaising with regulators, preparing legal opinions in relation to transactional matters and other Rwandan law matters. Wycliff has an excellent command of English and is a native speaker of Kinyarwanda.
